LINE & GRADE ENGINEER – BORACAY

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Makes exact measurements and determines proper references of survey for construction.
  • Leads and retains overall responsibility for accurate setting-out, survey and as-built requirements
  • Plans and conducts survey works, establishes building control Horizontal (Grid Lines) and Vertical (Every floor Elevations)
  • Coordinates with other Trade-Con for the Installation of Utilities and Fixture based on approved plan and survey.
  • Coordinates with Project Engineers and Architects regarding problem with building dimension or plan versus actual.
  • Prepares lay-out of excavation lines and monitor the elevation to be cut or filled • Conducts as-built survey of columns, sheer walls, core walls, precast walls beams and slab • Prepares status report to the Survey Engineer.
  • Responsible for carrying out and maintaining physical setup of the site, alignment monitoring, dimensions and other parameters of construction.
  • Performing/overseeing measurements and reporting on an on-going basis with the objective of ensuring overall construction in line with the construction plan/design.
  • Assists in establishing procedures to define primary survey points and transfer building controls on the site.
  • Responsible for accurate layout of building location and structures throughout the project. Calculates and monitors concrete hold quantities on a daily basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Civil, Geodetic) or equivalent.
    At least 1 to 2 Year(s) of working experience as Surveyor or Line and Grade Engineer.
  • Knowledgeable in handling Surveying Instruments.
  • A graduate of Geodetic Engineering, with license is a plus.
